Tech Issue: Blank Lesson Pages

Good morning SCcyber Family,

We have been looking into several reports of students having lessons loading as blank pages.  We think that it has to do with using certain browsers that sometimes don't play very nicely with Moodle, which is the system we use to host our courses. Google Chrome seems to be especially problematic, and also Microsoft Edge.

If you are experiencing this issue, please download the Firefox browser to use with your SCcyber lessons.  I have used it with Moodle for many years as it seems to work the best.  If you use Googledocs to complete your work, you can still continue to do that; it's just for displaying your lessons that Firefox will hopefully fix the issue and display all your lesson pages correctly.

Here is a link to download.  It is free and you do not need to create an account to download it.

https://www.mozilla.org/en-CA/firefox/new/

If you have had this problem, after you try opening your lessons in Firefox, would you please let me know by email right away if switching to Firefox fixed the problem for you or not?

Thank you,

Mrs. Kam
