I wish all of you a happy Christmas filled with family, friends, and lots of good treats!
SCcyber Christmas break will run from Friday, December 22, 2023 to Sunday, January 7, 2024. Classes resume January 8, 2024.
Please note the following information, and plan ahead if needed. 😊
School will be closed and SCcyber teachers will be away for the holiday break December 22-January 7. Note there is no school for students or teachers on Friday, December 22.
If you have any questions you need to be answered, make sure you contact your teacher by December 20 (Wednesday) to give them time to reply before the break.
If
you plan to be ready to write an exam over the break, contact your
teacher by December 20 so your teacher has time to release the exam to
your mentor or proctor before the break, otherwise, exams can be
scheduled when school resumes. Teachers will not be sending exams over the break.
Items handed in by 5 pm on December 20 will be marked and returned by
Tuesday, January 9. Items handed in over the break will be marked after
school resumes. Although our final due date for most assignments for the semester is January 11, we will be allowing extra time for exams as they must be scheduled with supervisors. Please reach out to your teacher if you are experiencing difficulties.
Students are welcome to continue working on their schoolwork and handing in assignments via email during the break if they need to do some catching up, but teachers will be on break and will reply to emails when school resumes.
Please don't phone or text teachers during the break, as this is their personal rest and family time. If there is a serious emergency that can't wait until school resumes on January 8, please contact me directly.
